Emanuel Buckvar exhibited works on paper at the 2012 Pier Show in NYC on November 17&18 with LSDArt. He sold out!!
Emanuel Buckvar Exhibits at 2012 Affordable Art Fair NYC
Buckvar's work was one of the star attractions at the Affordable Art Fair. He sold 5 paintings during the show and also took orders for 3 commissions. One of the employees from the Metropolitan Museum of Art who visited the show favorably compared his art to the abstract expressionist master, Clyfford Still, and his 1977 Untitled painting that is in the Met's collection, saying that after 40 years painting Still had not yet achieved the simple and pleasing design Buckvar achieved in Easy Rider, the hallmark piece of the Davenport & Shapiro booth at the show.
